Port of Pretor
2014
Architectural Design, Structural Engineering
Considering the long-term analysis of climatic influences and factors contributing to the decline of water levels in Prespa Lake, an appropriate technical solution has been proposed. A basic project has been developed for the construction of a new port in the Pretor tourist complex.
The port envisions one main access platform measuring 49m in length and 2.5m in width. At the end of this platform, two auxiliary platforms branch off, providing access to two structures equipped with elevators for safely lifting ships. The port is planned to be constructed using a combination of wood and steel, with piles reaching a depth of up to 8m below the water level, interconnected by couplings.
